African Boxing is proud to announce that Nairobi, Kenya, will host the much-awaited African Boxing Elite Men’s and Women’s Championships 2026, from 15–28 October 2026.

With the full support of the Government of Kenya, the Kenya National Olympic Committee, and the resilient Kenya Boxing Federation, Nairobi is ready to welcome Africa’s finest elite boxers for a major continental celebration of Olympic boxing, sporting excellence and African unity. 🇰🇪🥊🌍

The ground is set. The stage is ready. Africa’s elite will meet in Nairobi.

National Federations can now begin their preparations and ensure that their teams are ready for what promises to be one of the major highlights of the African Olympic boxing calendar.

📘 The Official Competition Handbook will be circulated in the coming hours, with all essential information regarding registration, participation, competition procedures, technical requirements and key deadlines.

This Championship is more than a competition. It is an opportunity to showcase the strength, talent and ambition of African Olympic boxing on the continental stage.
